I went to Giant tonight and got all this for $1.89--and most of that was tax!! (Well--I paid $7.89 oop, but I received 2 $3 catalinas--so total oop just $1.89!) But--it will become a money maker when I turn in the receipts for a no beer purchase mail in rebate for steaks for $10. So in the end, I will MAKE $8.11 on all this stuff!
I was able to do it using a combo of store coupons, manufacturers coupons and the fact that Giant honors competitor's coupons (I used the $5 off $25 coupon from Shoppers.)
What I got:
10 packs of steaks (NY strip, eye round, London Broil, Top Round and Ribeye.)
20 bottles of BBQ sauce (to be donated to the food bank)
10 bags of frozen veggies
1 bag of carrots
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
