Walgreens--4 day sale Spend $25 (pre coupons) get $5 RR
Today starts a 4 days sale at Walgreens where if you spend $25 (after tax, but BEFORE coupons) you will receive a $5 Register Reward good for your next order.
The Huggies wipes deal works GREAT with this.
If you only have the $2 Huggies wipes coupon found in the Back to School coupon flyer at the front of the store, your transaction would look like this:
9 tubs of wipes $2.79x9= $25.11
-$2 coupon (x9--you just need the one coupon though) = $18
=$7.11 oop of pocket, earn a $5 RR. Total cost for 9 tubs of wipes $2.11.
If you have the $.50/1 manufacturer's coupons that came out last Sunday (or previously) the deal looks like this:
9 tubs of wipes - 9 $.50/1 qs, 9 $2 qs = $2.61, earn $5 RR, making it a $2.39 money maker!
Don't forget that the new Softsoap Nutri body wash is $3.99 and produces a $4 RR. You can use this as a good "filler" to get you to a $25 total.
The Register Rewards don't "roll", meaning if you get one from one transaction you cannot use it on another $25 transaction and receive an additional $5 RR.
I did 3 separate "$25" transactions, received 3 $5 RR and one $4 RR for the Softsoap, then turned around and spent those RR right away since I'll be having the baby soon and won't be able to get back to the store later to use them. In addition to the wipes and Softsoap I bought 3 12 pack double rolls of Angel Soft toilet paper, a Red Baron pizza, a 12pk of Coke, 7 boxes of mac-n-cheese, a box of cookies (to keep little shoppers quiet), 40 4x6 prints, and a hard case travel size of Huggies wipes for the diaper bag.

Walgreens Huggies Wipes Deal
8isgreat mentioned this great deal going on at Walgreens this month. (Tubs of Huggies are $2.79 at many stores and there is a $2/1 tub of Huggies coupon available in the store and you can combine manufacturers coupons with it.) Read all the details here.
I was able to go to two Walgreens today to do this and got 31 tubs of wipes for $8.41 before tax. If you are going to do this deal and have the $.75/1 or $.50/1 manufacturer's coupons, make sure you give those to the cashier first then after all of those are entered, give the cashier the $2/1 walgreens coupon. It will then take $2 off each tub of wipes and the computer won't beep at all.
It's a great deal, and there's still time to order coupons to take advantage of it!

$5/25 CVS printable coupon!
If you go to cvs.com you can fill out a short survey about their Ready Fill Program. At the end you will receive a $5/25 coupon to be used in the store!
You can click on the survey on the image on the center of the screen that scrolls through a couple of different screens. It's the #1 screen and says "Ready Fill.....Get a $5 coupon just for testing your health IQ."
Once in the store, be sure to stop by the pharmacy and ask about the Ready Fill program. Just for asking about it you can receive a coupon booklet that has great coupons to use in the store (including two $4 off $20 purchase coupons!)
If you need diapers this week, here's how to get them for cheap after ECBs:
1 Revlon ColorStay Mineral Mousse Makeup $9.99 (earn $9.99 ecbs)
2 bags Huggies $9 each (earn $4 ecbs when you buy 2)
total cost: $27.99
use $5/25 coupon
use $1/1 Revlon cosmetic coupon from 7/19 SS
use two $1.50/1 huggies coupons from coupons.com or recent insert
=$18.99 oop, earn $13.99 in ECBS, plus submit for $1.50 rebate from Caregivers Marketplace.
After ECBs and rebate, just $3.50 for 2 packs of Huggies and the Revlon make-up
The deal is even better if you have the $3/1 Huggies from the home mailer Huggies sent out. The math would be:
$27.99
-5/25
-$1 Revlon
-2 $3 huggies
=$15.99 oop, earn $13.99 ecbs, submit for $1.50 from Caregivers
After ECBs and rebate, just $.50 for 2 packs of Huggies and the Revlon make-up
If you belong to Upromise.com, be sure to load the $1.50 Huggies coupon to your CVS card and you can add $1.50 contribution to your upromise savings account!

Cheap Huggies Wipes at Walgreens!
Walgreens Huggies wipes are $2.79/box for the 64 count.
In the Back to School coupon flyer found at the front of the store there is a $2/1 Huggies wipes 64-216 count Walgreens coupon. You will only need one of these Qs. It will take $2 off each package of wipes no matter how many are rung up. You can use manufacturer's Qs with the Walgreens Q. I had some 75c/1 Huggies wipes. I bought 6 tubs of 64 count wipes for $0.04 each + tax.
There was a 75c/1 Q in a home mailer recently. Also, there may be Huggies Qs coming out before the coupon expires on 8/29/09.

My CVS run 4/6/09
Here's my run...

My only diapered child wears size 5, so I could only take advantage of the $3/1 Huggies Qs not the $5/1.
I am 41 and wanted the Olay Regenerist night cream ($18) which is part of the "buy $25 in Olay and get $10 in ECBs." I bought the Olay ribbons ($7) to bring my Olay total to $25 exactly.
I also took advantage of the free Easter grass and baskets, and the free skintimates shave gel. The only other ECB deal I took advantage of was the Colgate Max Fresh for $2.99 get $2.00 in ECBs.
I rounded out my $75 purchase (I had a $15 off a $75 purchase CVS coupon) with 2 Schick Intuition refills (these are BOGO this week) and 2 Russel Stover solid chocolate bunnies on sale 2/$3 (2 down 6 more to get to fill my baskets this Sunday).
+$74.79 total before tax
+$2.28 tax
+$77.07 total
-$15 CVS coupon - printed with my card from the in store scanner
-$6 (2) $3/1 Huggies IP
-$8 (2) $4/1 schick intuition refill Q
-$1 Olay ribbons body wash Q
-$.75 Colgate
-$.50 Huggies wipes
+$45.82 total after Qs
-$11.98 in ECBs
+$33.84 total after ECBs
-$13.68 remaining balance on my FREE gift card I had from transferring a Rx
+$20.16 I paid OOP in cash.
Then... the register printed 6 ECBs totaling $31.05. I *earned* $9.99 on this purchase.
Good luck with your run this week!

Huggies craziness!
In looking at my receipts I've bought 55 bags of Huggies since March when the Huggies internet printables came out. With a 15 month old and a baby on the way we will be well set with diapers for a good long time! (And thank you to my husband who has built new shelves in the tops of our closets to store them all!)
Thought I'd take a picture of today's diaper run from CVS.

10 bags of Huggies at $10 each = $100
used a $20/100 cvs coupon that printed out at the coupon scanner in the store
used 10 $5 Huggies IP coupons
used $15.50 in ECBs (extra care bucks)
$14.50 on a cvs gift card I got by filling my daughter's allergy medication (got a $25 gc for filling her prescription)
earned $10 ECBs
so I put $14.50 on gift card, got $10 in ECBs back and will get a $7.50 check back from caregivers marketplace when I mail in the Huggies receipts.
This is a good example of how to make "rolling ECBs" and combining store and manufacturer coupons work for you. I got 10 bags of diapers without paying a single cent out of pocket (by using the ECBs and the gift card I got for the medicine my daughter needed anyway) AND I will be getting a check of $7.50 in the mail from Caregivers Marketplace. In essence, I turned ECBs and free gift cards into cash while getting diapers.
If you do the math, between ECBs and gift card I "spent" a total of $20 - $7.50 (caregivers rebate) = $12.50 for 10 packs of diapers = $1.25 a pack of diaper. Not too shabby.
A year and a half ago I never would have thought this was possible. But I think this shows that the longer you play this CVS game and learn how best to use coupons and store offers, amazing savings are possible!

There's still time to order coupons for this sale--but you need to act QUICKLY. A word to the wise though--there are several sellers on ebay selling copies of the internet printable (IP) $5 or $3 coupons. Each coupon must have it's own unique code, using a copy of an IP coupon is coupon fraud and you can be prosecuted for such. We have very successfully traded for these coupons through Hot Coupon World. You do need to register and seek approval, but it's an easy process. Sometimes people are looking to trade for other IPs, insert coupons, stamps or even small amounts of Paypal funds. You can check out the person's trader rating too to see if it's someone you'd want to trade with.
From all the emails we receive, 10 randomly selected posters will receive sets of Huggies coupons for free. If you are not one of the lucky 10 you can still receive coupons, but will need to provide a self-addressed stamped envelope. If you'd like to enter the drawing for the Huggies coupons, please leave a comment, but ALSO email us at luvsdeals@gmail.com--we'll need your email address to contact you about mailing you your coupons. Coupon amounts will randomly be placed in envelopes by our kids--but you will receive at least 3 Huggies coupons per envelope.
